Everyday is a Great day!

Also know as best Day ever, alittle short term memory loss humor..... Some things come so easy to Me, like cooking a big family dinner. I cook with LOVE, for My Loved ones.... It's My oldest Daughter's 30th Birthday, I Thank God Out loud just to be present.

But best of All = All the People I Love in one place together~ Best Day ever.

Because every Day, is the best Day ever. And I don't take one moment for granted......... There is always an empty chair, for Jesus.

Sounds of the Cicadas

Just the other day, I was teaching the Grand Babies the cycle of cicadas...... Because we found the shells they left behind, under o Our favorite willow tree~  I explained to them, this was a rare find. Because cicadas only emerge every 17 years........ What are Cicadas?

The Basics

Cicadas are insects, best known for the songs sung by most, but not all, male cicadas. They make this sound by flexing their tymbals, which are drum-like organs found in their abdomens. Small muscles rapidly pull the tymbals in and out of shape — like a child's click-toy. The sound is intensified by the cicada's mostly hollow abdomen. Female and some male cicadas will also make a sound by flicking their wings, but it isn't the same as the song cicadas are known for. Listen to some of the songs cicadas sing.

A wonderful moment was shared with Me the other day, while in the company of others with Alzheimer ....... I am blessed to keep company with these wonderful People, for I am not much different. And they always have open arms, and open hearts. I am so happy to have seen this video with them. In fact I'm so glad this duo of Father, and Son made this video ~ We thank You out loud. Back to the folks I watched this with, the whole room sang along. " It was beautiful." Enjoy,and sing along.  Get involved the Alzheimer's walk is Oct. 9th.
